Data Analyst

Biography

Welcome to my website! I am Marie Aurélie Lapierre, a Data Analyst at the directorate for planning, housing and nature of the French Ministry of Housing.

Before joining the Ministry, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL (LEDa), under Laura Khoury's Junior Professor Chair. I obtained my PhD from Université Lumière Lyon 2 and GATE-LSE, supervised by Florence Goffette-Nagot. During this time, I also served as a Temporary Lecturer at CY Cergy Paris Université and THEMA.

My work sits at the intersection of urban and labor economics, with a focus on housing affordability, neighborhood effects, and the inequalities they generate in labor market outcomes. I am also interested in structural transformations of urban territories. You can find more on the Research page.
